  • Genetic history of indigenous peoples of Sakha (Yakutia) and genetically -mediated diseases: the study of the molecular- genetic, evolutionary and social aspects
  • Reconstruction of the genetic history of the peoples of the RS (Y) based on the study of mitochondrial DNA, Y- chromosome and autosomal loci
  • Molecular genetic studies of monogenic and multifactorial diseases prevalent in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) (hereditary deafness, chronic alcoholism, breast cancer)
  • Cytogenetic studies: analysis and monitoring of chromosomal abnormalities
  • Study of the prenatal diagnosis of monogenic diseases with dynamic mutations
  • The study of the ethical, social and legal issues of the use of genetic technologies in public health practice
