Research area: the study of the immunological, biochemical, morphological and physiological bases of the human pathology in the North.

The Department performs research on the topic: “Regional features of the biochemical and immunological indices in the indigenous and non-indigenous Sakha Republic (Yakutia) population in norm and pathology”.

Structurally the Department of the Adaptation Mechanisms Study consists of two laboratories:

• Laboratory of biochemical researches
• Laboratory of Immunological researches
